A Blog's Return

It has been over a year—since September 2024, in fact—since I last published a blog post here. To those of you who have followed my work, I want to address this silence directly. The pause was not due to a lack of topics or passion for my work; it was a necessary professional and personal decision following an instance of unexpected stalking and harassment from a local stranger.
This experience fundamentally changed how I approach my online presence and privacy. Dealing with such an incident, especially one that is now proceeding through the legal system (with a Crown Court date set for December 2026), is a prolonged process that requires immense discretion. It has been challenging to continue running a client-facing small business while a legal case of this nature drags on, forcing certain aspects of my professional life to be temporarily "brushed under the carpet.

The Impact on My Online Presence
The most impactful part of the harassment involved my content. The perpetrator viewed a specific video on this blog multiple times—over a hundred views in two days, according to analytics—and then referenced the content and the sound of my voice in messages. This violation of my space led to immediate, protective measures. I initially restricted the blog to site members only, and when the individual continued attempts to sign up, I had to implement a strict access policy: I now manually approve every membership request, granting access only to those clients actively booked into my classes.
For the last year, I have felt stuck. I've become quieter across all social media platforms and hyper-aware of my general privacy footprint. Yet, blogging and social media are vital tools for connecting with you, sharing my expertise in Pilates and FRC Mobility, and growing this small business. This conflict between security and necessity has been a genuine challenge.
Moving Forward
There is a great deal I have wanted to share about mobility, training, and wellness, and it is time to push past this barrier. I am ready to return to writing.
My hope is that, I can gradually open the blog back up to the public, allowing me to fully return to running my business just like anybody else. For now, I look forward to reconnecting with you here and sharing the knowledge and insights I’ve been holding onto.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support.
